🌔 Citroen C5 Automatic Gearbox Problems
Car is 2008 (X7 model) C5 2.0 HDI with the 6-speed AM6/TF80 gearbox. It has done 140k miles but generally goes OK. However, since I've been driving it over the last couple of months I have noticed the odd weird shift pattern.
Our long-term test Citroen C5 Aircross had the 1.2-litre engine with a manual gearbox, which felt like a slightly strange combination in a car of this size and type. The gearshift throw is long, the knob is oddly shaped and frankly, we’ve found that the automatics fitted to the hybrid and diesel engines suit this car far better.

Hello Citroen C5 MKII LIFT 2.0HDI, automatic transmission AISIN AM6, mileage 258 thousand. The car changes gears smoothly. Before driving and warming up the engine, switching to D and R at a standstill, there are no disturbing symptoms, but when I ride the car and stop, I give R a strong blow, only it happens on R.
Citroen C5 Automatic Gearbox. My c5 with auto box and 2 litre petrol engine has been back to dealer four times for jerky gear changing wbich appears to be a known fault. Does any technically minded person know if this problem can actually be corrected as the various software updates from Citroen have made little difference. Car is four months old.

I cant help thinking that the vibration when starting is not connected to the gear box problem, but what I would say is that 1. your Citroen dealer should have been able to give some clue as to the gearbox fault through diagnostics 2.They probably didnt because they dont believe they can fix it. 3 stay away from
citroen c5 auto gearbox problem? When i start the car and drive there is no fault on the screen but some time car takes jerk especially on the hill. another point when try to pull in a first gear its like car is in a third gear instead of a first gaer. so I have to rev so much then car pull.
